While the plains are resting easy, I’m going a wee-bit stir crazy. So I’ve clearly been trying to get myself into trouble, and have the most random scenarios befall me. Yesterday I was happily taking a shower before my Monday Starbucks jaunt when I saw something black and evil out of the corner of my eye. Not a sp*der, or a beetle. Probably just an ant. Nonetheless, it had to die.
I hopped out of the shower, and prepared for battle. With one quick swat at the shower curtain, it should have been over. Instead, Monday’s karma stick smacked me cleanly between my shoulder blade and neck. I spent the rest of the day in what felt like traction at my desk, lamenting the fact that not only was I in pain but the little bugger managed to escape. If only the cats had done their job.
THIS is what happens when there’s nothing to chase! Have mercy on my neck, Mother Nature!
Props to Massage Envy for giving me back almost full neck movement today.
