Wanna go for a ride?

It’s been super quiet on here, and for that I should apologize. Unless you’re a fan of silence…then I’m not sure why you’re reading this in the first place. Moving on….

It’s been drought-tastic here for weeks. This so-called Monsoon season has been nothing more than the occasional rainy day. I will admit two weekends ago was a fantastically rainy day, but since then not much has happened. So I’ve been focusing on 2013. It’ll be my third Chasercon, but the first Chasercon where I can actually say I’ve seen tornadoes. SEVEN to be exact!

I’ve also been designing for a separate project: Rapid Rotation Storm Tours. I’ve always wanted to do design for storm chasers (because really, a lot of sites out there are made by scientists, not designers), so this has been a fun project thus far. Their first tour season starts in April of 2013, and you should definitely check it out if you’ve never chased before. It’s thousands cheaper than picking up your entire life and moving west like I did. (Although I don’t doubt my decision for a second. Ever!)
